Ordering a stamp

• What's the best way to order a rubber stamp?

  You can either order your stamp through our website or you can send us an email with the details of the stamp you require, and we will send you a proof of artwork and quote for you to review.

• Can I come into your shop to order my stamp?

  Not that we don't want to see you but, we are an online business, and as everything is done electronically, we ask that you phone, email or use our website to order your stamp.

• I'm not sure how to order the stamp online, is there another way I can order?

  Online shopping is not for everyone so if you need guidance or would like to discuss your stamp order, please give us a call or send us an email.

Logo Stamp

• What format does my logo need to be in to create a stamp?

  Your logo needs to be in black and white, high resolution and at a minimum of 600dpi in either a JPEG, PDF, EPS or AI file. You will get brownie points if you send through a vector file.

• Can I get a stamp made if my logo is in colour or in low resolution?

  Yes, but your logo will need to be re-created to black and white and high resolution first. If you need assistance in getting your logo in the correct format, send your logo to sales@rubberstamps.com.au and we will send you a quote.

• My logo is detailed, can you still make a stamp of it?

  Detail is our middle name! We use state of the art technology, and through our extensive experience, have found the art to capture the most detailed impressions. If you don't believe us, then check out our work on Instagram @imprintrubber

• Do you offer a graphic design service to create a logo for me?

  We sure do! If you have something in mind or would like one of our graphic designers to come up with something for you, get in touch and we will get the ball rolling.

Self-inking Stamps

• I want to change the information on my self-inking stamp, can it be done?

  Absolutely! Send us an email with the new information and let us know the make and model of the stamp (eg. Trodat 4913, Colop P50, etc) and we will send you a proof of artwork and a price. If you want it to be in the same format as your current stamp, email us a stamped impression of your stamp so we can match it.

• What can I do when my ink starts fading?

  You have two options.

  1. You can purchase a new ink cartridge. Send us an email with the make, model and ink colour of the self-inking stamp and we can help you out.
  2. Purchase a bottle of ink and you can put a few drops onto the ink cartridge and get stamping again.
• What is the largest self-inking stamp I can get?

  The largest self-inking stamp available is 116 x 70mm. If you want a larger stamp then you will need to go for a traditional, wooden stamp.

• Can I use a self-inking stamp on a shiny surface?

  Unfortunately, not. Self-inking stamp can only be used with water-based ink, and this will smudge on a shiny surface. You will need a traditional rubber stamp used with a suitable ink pad.

• What brand of self-inking stamps do you sell?

Wooden Rubber Stamps

• What is the largest rubber stamp you can make?

  We can make a rubber stamp whatever size you would like however, to fit our largest ink pad the stamp size would need to be a maximum of 280mm x 180mm. If you would like to go even larger, please contact us.

• The stamp size I want is not listed on your website.

  No worries, just send us an email or give us a call and we can help you out. As there are so many different sizes available, we have listed the most popular sizes, but can custom make them to suit your needs.

• Can I use a rubber stamp on shiny surfaces?

  Yes, you will just need to use your rubber stamp with quick-drying ink when stamping onto a shiny surface. Head over to our Pads & Inks and in the Multi-Purpose Ink pad section you can choose the colour of your choice. If your stamp is larger than the multi-purpose ink pad, it will still work as the foam part of the pad is raised and you can move the stamp around to get a good ink coverage.

• What surfaces can I stamp onto?

  Pretty much any 'non-porus' surface you like, you just need the correct ink for the application.

  Our customers have used stamps on coffee cups, paper bags, pizza boxes, packaging boxes, swing tags, fabric bags, documents, loyalty cards, skin, wood, glass, plastic, metal, acrylic and leather. So let your imagination run wild.

• What ink is best to stamp onto fabric?

  You will need a dry ink pad and a bottle of fabric ink, which we have available in black.

• Can I stamp onto wood?

  Of course! Use your rubber stamp with a Stazon ink pad and this will do the trick.

Delivery

• Once I place my order, how long before I receive it?

  We manufacture and dispatch within 1-3 business days. However, if your artwork is not suitable, we will let you know, and this may delay the time to receive your stamp.

• Can I collect my stamp from your Thornbury, Victoria shop?

  Yes, we would love to see you so when placing your order make sure you choose the 'Collect from store' option.

• How do you send the stamps?

  We send all our parcels via Express Post as we have found this to be the safest and most reliable option.

• How much do you charge for delivery?

  We charge a flat fee of $16.95 within Australia.

• Do you ship overseas?

  Yes, but please send us an email with your stamp requirements and we will send you a proof of artwork with a price and delivery charges.

Name Badges

• What format does my logo need to be in to create a name badge?

  For engraved badges: Your logo needs to be in black and white, high resolution and at a minimum of 600dpi in either a JPEG, PDF, EPS or AI file. You will get brownie points if you send through a vector file.

  For printed badges: Your logo needs to be in high resolution and at a minimum of 300dpi in either a JPEG, PDF, EPS or AI file. To avoid having a white square behind your logo, please upload a transparent file.

• Can we have another shape and size name badge?

  Yes, we can custom make these for your requirements. Contact us and we will be able to help you out.

• I'm having difficulty in designing my badge online, is there another way I can order?

  Yes, we are here to help. Contact us and we will help you design your badge.

• Can anyone wear a magnetic fastener?

  No, these cannot be used with a pacemaker.

• Do engraved badges come in any other colours?

  Yes, there is a large range of colours that are not listed on our website. Contact us and we can help you out.

• What is the difference between engraved and printed name badges?

  Great question! Engraved name badges are made with a laser machine that uses a laser beam to engrave through the top layer giving them a crisp and sharp detailed impression. Engraved badges come in a 2-ply colour combination.

  Our printed name badges are made through a sublimation process where your details are printed and transferred by using a heat press. Through this process, the information cannot be scratched off the badge. Printed badges can be printed in full colour.
